Your Data, Your Control.
Clearly Defined.
This policy outlines exactly what data Digavo collects when you use our gaming performance tools, how we use it to improve your experience, and the strict boundaries we operate within. No vague legalese, just clear terms.
Key Terms & Real-World Context
Anonymized Telemetry
System specs (CPU, GPU) and performance metrics (FPS, latency) sent to our servers without any personal identifiers. For example, identifying "a Ryzen 5 user with a 10ms ping spike" rather than you.
Local Processing
The core of Digavo’s function. All game profiling and system tweaks happen directly on your machine. We don't control your games; we give your hardware better instructions.
Opt-In Analytics
Crash reports and feature usage data. You control whether this is sent. This is what helps us fix bugs for your specific hardware configuration.
Third-Party SDKs
We only integrate essential libraries (e.g., for license validation). We require these providers to be GDPR compliant and do not use them for advertising.
What Data We Handle & Why
Personal Account Data
When you create an account, we store your email address (used for login and license validation) and your subscription status. This is the minimal information required for the service to function. We do not store payment information; that is handled exclusively by our payment processor (Stripe) and is PCI-compliant.
Hardware & Performance Profiles
Your locally saved presets (which games, which settings) are stored on your device. We do not have access to these. However, if you enable 'Sync Profiles' (a client-side feature), the app encrypts this data before syncing it across your own devices via our secure cloud.
Improvement Loops
If you submit a bug report with 'Send Log Files' enabled, you are sending us text files that contain error messages and system states. We use this to replicate and fix issues. These logs are purged after 90 days or upon your request.
Your Data's Journey
Your PC
Data is generated & encrypted locally. No cloud connection required for core function.
Optional Send
If you enable 'Help Improve Digavo', anonymized data is transmitted via a secure TLS 1.3 connection.
Processing Server (Frankfurt)
Data is decrypted and aggregated. Individual entries are never stored long-term; only trends are kept.
Engineering Team
Analysts review aggregated trends to spot common crashes or performance bottlenecks for upcoming patches.
How We Process Information
Encryption & Security
All data in transit is encrypted using TLS 1.3. Data at rest on our servers is encrypted with AES-256. Your account password is hashed and salted; we cannot see it. We run regular penetration tests, and our codebase undergoes security audits before major releases.
Third-Party Processors
We rely on trusted partners for essential functions: AWS (hosting), Stripe (payments), and SendGrid (transactional emails). Each has signed a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) with Digavo, binding them to our privacy standards. We do not sell or share user data for marketing purposes.
Data Retention Policy
- Account data (email, subscription): Retained as long as your account is active.
- Performance telemetry (if opted in): Aggregated trends kept for product analysis; individual data points are purged after 30 days.
- Support logs: 90 days from issue resolution.
- We provide a clear 'Delete My Data' tool in your account settings.
Your Rights & Controls
Access
You can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you (your account email and subscription status).
Correction
Update your account email at any time from the user dashboard.
Deletion
Permanently delete your account and associated personal data. This action is irreversible.
Withdraw Consent
Toggle data sharing for analytics on/off in the app's settings. No data is sent once disabled.
Data Protection Contact
For any privacy-related requests, including data access or deletion, please contact our designated Data Protection Officer.
Our Commitment in One Line
We build tools for your hardware; we do not build profiles of you. Your performance data is yours to control.
